I am the Head of Digital Research Services at the University of Houston (UH) Libraries. In this role, I develop policies and workflows for the digital components of scholarly communications, including digital research support and digital repositories.
I publish and present on the assessment of digital repository metadata, software, and content reuse. You can find out more about my scholarship and speaking by exploring this website.
I currently serves as co-principal investigator for the IMLS-funded “Bridge2Hyku Toolkit: Developing Migration Strategies for Hyku” and was the principal investigator for the IMLS-funded “Developing a Framework for Measuring Reuse of Digital Objects” grant project.
Prior to my position at UH, I was the Project Manager of the South Carolina Digital Newspaper Program at the University of South Carolina Libraries. I earned a M.A. in Public History and M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina.
